Katy Perry Splits Up With Rapper Boyfriend Travis McCoy

Singer Katy Perry seems to be the first victim of relationship breakups of the year. The I Kissed A Girl artist has just recently split up with her long time boy friend Travis McCoy. McCoy is the lead singer of rappers Gym Class Heroes.
Many have thought that their partnership will be headed to the altar after a nearly two years of relationship. However, when 2009 enters, their partnership is already over and ended. Before deciding to call their relationship quit, the duo had tried to save their on the rocks romance with a break to Mexico in a while before the Christmas Holiday.
However, friends of the 24 years old Katy Perry said that her relationship with Travis had begun to get cold a few months earlier their brake-up. It was the time when they were both busy with their own tours and were unable to spend much time with each other together. We all know that communication is very important in a relationship.
Like every other woman, Katy Perry is hurting after the break up. During her acoustic performance at the LA’s Hotel Café on January 12 night, pop princess Hot N Cold girl did not hide her feeling about her split up with McCoy. Katy Perry’s new single Thinking of You means a lot to her. According to Perry, the message of the song is like when somebody is undergoing a break up and do not want to move but have to.
Katy further said that sometime it was like finding oneself making out with somebody else and feels like cheating but eventually not because you are already broken up. Being a girl Katy knows that he had sex with a person, but have thinking with a different person the whole time. Katy feels like she is cheating even if she already has broken up with her boyfriend Travis McCoy and according to her it hurts her right now.
After the heartbreaking split up with Travis McCoy, Katy had promised to abstain from sex this year. According to her, she had taken a vow of celibacy and promised not to kiss anyone aside from her cat Kitty Purry.
Despite the break up, Katy seems to be in high spirits while performing on a New Years Eve party. It was being rumored a few weeks before their break up that the couple are engaged. Moreover, it was just recently that Travis bought a promise ring for Katy and a silver band for him-self with Katy’s name inscribed in it.
The couple’s break up might be normal to those people who are both busy with their own careers. As we all know, Katy was out of sight years back and with the release of just a few singles from her album, Katy exploded like a bomb and get famous around the globe in an instant. Maybe their relationship was just in a state of shock due to the busy schedule of both artists, and hopefully sometime soon they will fixed things up and be back with each other’s arms again.
