The King Of Pop is dead at 50.
This is one of the saddest news of this year as the music industry loses music figure Michael Jackson to a heart attack.
Jackson reportedly suffered from a heart attack at his Holmby Hills home and when paramedics arrived in the scene, Jackson’s heart already stopped beating. Rescuers tried to revive the King but eventually gave it up after receiving no pulse following their attempts.
A cardiologist at the UCLA confirmed that Jackson died due to cardiac arrest. Lt. Fred Corral of the Los Angeles County Coroner stated Jackson was pronounced dead at 2:26 p.m. Thursday, June 25, 2009.
The hospital erupted into chaos after paramedics wheeled him in, with the singer’s companions screaming “You’ve got to save him! You’ve got to save him!” at the top of their lungs.
The Man who entertained us with the patented moonwalks and solid hits and singles is no more. Jackson is survived by his three children three children: Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince “Blanket” Michael Jackson II.
The Rise to The Throne
Michael Jackson started out as the youngest member of the Jackson 5, a group that showcased the Michael and his four other brothers.
After a string of backup performances, Jackson eventually became the group’s front sensation with hits such as “I Am In Love” and “Dancing Machine.”
When Jackson met producer Quincy Jones, it was the start of his solo yet stellar music career. He topped the charts with his singles but rocked the world with “Thriller,” a classic that remains to be the highest-ranked single ever released to the music mainstream.
Jackson was an undisputed unifying force when it comes to racial issues and had reflected this through the hit “Black And White.”  He also showed a soft spot for the less unfortunate, donating millions of dollars to famine relief funds and making singles such as “Heal The World” and “We Are The World”. He also donated to the numerous charities, including the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund”, the Red Cross and UNESCO.
Jackson also united  for a brief period two biggest names in music when he married Elvis Presley’s daughter Lisa Marie.
Scandals and Controversies
Jackson’s journey was nothing short of controversial. He was charged of grave sexual abuse, child molestation and was also heavily dependent on drugs.
Notable actress Elizabeth Taylor came to his defense when he was accused of child molestation by Gavin Arvizo. Taylor said that she was there during the times where Arvizo claimed he was molested and abused by Michael. She refuted Arvizo’s claim saying that nothing wrong while she was with Michael.
Another notable controversy is that a “body” believing to be Michael Jackson’s was unearthed in Jackson’s Neverland Ranch in 2005. Investigators suspect that the real Michael Jackson died 20 years ago and the one who recently died was an imposter.
Permanently Derailed Comeback
Jackson was preparing for a 50-concert tour for his comeback, all of which will be staged in the London Arena. Tickets are already sold out moments after the press release.
Nevertheless, Michael Jackson will always be remembered as the King of Pop, a pure entertainer, and a music icon. He will certainly be missed.

Manny Pacquiao probably can now be considered as the world champion in the world of boxing and a superstar after beating Brit boxer Ricky Hatton during the second round of their fight.

May 2, 2009 was a memorable for the Filipino boxer Manny “pacman” Paquiao as he showered the British boxer Ricky Hatton with his powerful punch that ended the fight in a flash. The fight happens Saturday night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. With the fight ended in round 2, Pacquiao has proved that he is now the boxing superstar.

The fight was wild and both fighters move so fast making Pacquiao sent Hatton down to the canvass twice during the first round. During the second round, Pacquiao landed a left hook to Hatton and let him out of the game with only one second remaining for the second round.

On Saturday morning, Floyd Mayweather has announced his comeback from retirement. However, it is now of no doubt that Manny Pacquiao is the current undefeated king of the rings. Pacquiao said in an interview that their strategy is the one punch.

The Philippine’s national fist is a quiet and simple person outside the ring. However, the moment that he had stepped up, he suddenly transforms into a high-powered machine and Ricky Hatton definitely felt the force of Manny Pacquiao.

The team Hatton is expecting Ricky to show something, but he failed to response Pacquiao’s precision and speeding punches.

Pacquiao’s trainer Freddie Roach knows that the game was over. He found Ricky playing tactics the same way over and over again and didn’t even adjust.

When the second round was about to end, Manny thrown a strong straight left that send Hatton down once again and this time around for the win of Manny Pacquiao. Doctors immediately rushed to Ricky Hatton, and thankfully, he was still able to walk on his own.

According to Pacquiao, he was surprised how easy the fight was for him. He has spent more hard work in his training camp and it did eventually paid off. He further said that this win is a big victory for him as compared to his win with the Golden Boy Oscar De La Hoya.

Pacquiao’s win over Oscar De La Hoya wasn’t able to convinced he whole boxing society that the Golden Boy’s power is already over. However, this win definitely proves that Pacquiao is not the top dog.

Many Pacquiao’s trainer has grows his status every time Manny, which use to be his top fighter won. This only clears things out that his game plan is perfect.

Hatton’s defeat on this game is a bitter blow to thousands of his fans who managed to travel across the Atlantic.

Ricky Hatton is one of the most popular boxers ever and has many fans. However, with his defeat on this game, his fighting career and popularity is now already in danger. And for the side of Manny Pacquiao, his boxing career future is already brighter than ever.

The Filipino boxer said that he can fight anybody.

Quantum of Solace is the latest James Bond Movie. Despite of it being the known James Bond who are always presenting of the latest hi-tech gadgets, former agent007 Roger Moore dislikes it due to the scenes that’s getting more and more violent, which is far way different when it was Roger Moore that played being the super spy with a tongue-in-cheek humor.

Moore said that he is happy of being part of it but was saddened also that the wonderful family movie turned out to be so violent already. According to Roger Moore, it seems like this is what the movie goers are wanted and it was being proved by the box office figures the Quantum of Solace had in London when it opened on October 31, 2008.

When the bond film opened in London on October 31, it breaks the British weekend box-office record as they reach the gross of $25 million. That is just in London alone. When the worldwide sales are being recognized, the bond film has reached a gross of $106 million so far.

In his 1985 Bond movie “A View to a Kill”, the 85 years old Moore recalled being horrified of its violence. This bond film was his last of seven wherein he played Bond.

It has been known that Roger Moore has written a book and he writes about his distaste for guns since his friend with a BB gun shot him in the leg when he was still a teenager.

He had written further that during the making of “The Man with the Golden Gun,” his director Guy Hamilton wanted Bond to be tougher. In order to get information, the director wanted him to threaten Maud Adam’s character’s arm to break. Moore said that this characterization does not sit well with him; however, Guy was eager to make Bond a little crueler.

Since Moore does not want cruelty, he suggested that to get information, Bond would charm her by bedding her first. Generally, Bond was a lover and a giggler. However, Moore went along with Guy.

Even though the former Bond star haven’t seen Quantum of Solace yet, he is sure that it will be a success in North America too, since Craig’s first Bond film which is the Casino Royale, hits the market.
As to with Moore’s legacy as an actor, he was mostly known for playing Bond and playing in some TV series like The Saint and The Persuaders with Tony Curtis. According to Moore, being remembered as one of the leers or the hamlets is what he wanted the most. However, since it is not going to happen, he is already happy for playing Bond.

Moore’s records are full of story about Hollywood and the stars that he used to worked with like Vivien Leigh, Mae West and Lana Turner. He also mentioned about his bust-up with Grace Jones during the shoot of A view to a Kill, wherein he forcibly pulled the plug on her stereo and throws a chair against the wall because she was playing rock music aloud.

It seems like Mr. President-elect Barack Obama should be aware that sexy singer Beyonce Knowles is so much willing to perform at his inauguration day.
According to Beyonce, she is there and cannot wait. She feels like all of them were ready to do whatever they have to do. She said further that she is willing to do whatever they wanted. If they need her to volunteer to sing, she will be there and is always ready. She is so excited to share with Barack Obama’s victory that made history as becoming the nation’s first elected black president.
Sexy Beyonce could not stop rejoicing of Obama’s win over the republican John McCain on the latest presidential election that happens November 4, 2008. Because of that win, the singer honors Obama so much that resulted her wearing a blue suit and tie with stiletto heels in red, white and blue.
She admitted that she is that a patriotic person. It is just that she feels overjoyed.
During the election night, Beyonce was supposed to be in Japan to promote her upcoming album with a title of “I Am… Sasha Fierce.” However, she decided to postpone the said event at the last minute.
Beyonce told the press people that she is completely making a bad decision, when in fact she have to go home, and will going to kill herself if she is not home in America when the important event happens.
Beyonce goes to different states like Pennsylvania, Florida, and Ohio just before the election together with hubby Jay-Z, Diddy, Mary J. Blige and others, and after that, she watched the result of the election returns on Tuesday night with her family and friends at home. Beyonce was not only inspired by Obama, but with McCain acknowledgment as well. According to her, McCain’s speech was so classy.
With Obama’s win as the first African – American president of the United States, he generally inspires other African – American to pursue their dreams and believe that they can do it.
Another happy celebrity with Obama’s win is Oprah and Madonna. Madonna did a glittering rally of her own as her way of celebrating Barack Obama’s win. With her rousing introduction to her song Express Yourself, Madonna led thousands of fans at her concert in San Diego. In addition, she claps her hands while saying, “This is a historical evening! … We are lucky to be sharing it with each other!”
One more celebrity who is celebrating with Madonna and Beyonce is talk show host Oprah Winfrey. She said that she is so, so, so excited realizing that the win is real. When she was asked what Obama’s win means to the country she answered, “It means democracy at its finest. It is just the best. We did this. America did this.”
Actor George Clooney congratulates the newly president elect Barack Obama on his historic victory over McCain and stated that it is now time to start unifying the country.
Another celebrity joining with some other is singer Colby Caillat who cried when Obama won and thinks that United States of America is safe.
